How do I join this site?
Click the "Sign Up" link at the top of the page. A valid email address is required when signing up as all accounts are activated via email.
What can I do on this site?
When you are logged in you can...
- Vote for any of the faves listed.
- Add your own faves to any of the topics.
- Suggest a new topic.
- Add comments to any topics.
How do I find a topic?
The most popular topics are shown on the home page. You can find more topics by clicking on a tag in the "Popular Tags" area on the right hand side of each page. You can also use the search feature to find more topics.
How do I add my faves?
Find a topic that you would like to add your faves to and click on "Add your faves to this list", which is located just below the faves listed.
I added a fave but it isn't showing on the list. Is something wrong?
No. After you submit a fave you should see a message confirming that your fave was submitted. We approve all new faves manually before they are added to the site. We do this so that any errors like typos or something being added to an incorrect topic can be fixed before going live on the site.
How do I vote for an item already listed?
Click on the "Vote" button in front of the item you wish to vote for. Done! You can only vote once for any item. If you have already voted for an item the button in front of the item will say "Voted".
How are the lists ranked?
By the number of votes received per item, highest to lowest.
Can I suggest a new topic?
Yes! Please check to make sure that your topic does not already exist before suggesting a new topic. Click on the Tag (from Popular Tags section) that your topic would fit into to see the topics for that tag. If your topic is not listed you can suggest a new topic by clicking the "Suggest a New Topic" link below the results for that tag. There is also a "Suggest a New Topic" link below each list. Enter your new topic suggestion and click the submit button. We manually approve all new topic suggestions so check the site again soon to see if your topic has been added.
I lost my password... what do I do?There is a "Lost Password" link on the "Log In" page.
